Clark Jumped In, So I Kept My Promise and Doubled My Pledge |
|
Donation number 307. And I will probably double my pledge again in the not-too-distant future.
This is the most I've ever donated to any one candidate. But I don't regret it for a second.
Also, I think AmericansForClark.com is a great domain name. :-)

1. Great to see a positive post |
|
Though I am a Dean supporter I smiled when I read your post because it's so positive. I'd be happy if we could stick to supporting our candidates of choice and, while discussing the pros and cons of all, keeping it civil at least.
May we all get together for our common cause in the end!

I appreciate your own positive vibes, unlike SO MANY here.
Peace, and believe me, I will be donating to Dean if he wins the nomination. I'm quite enthusiastic about him, as he's my #2 choice (and not a "lukewarm" #2, either)!

8. I too am doing the same |
|
Also my husband is matching mine as well as my parents. Yesterday I recieved a message on my recorder Congratulating "us" the draftClark supporters on a mission accomplished. It was nice to hear and they suggested it was "historical" because it was a first of it's kind. I thought it was a well thought out message, not over the top but it was nice to be acknowledged. Just a personal opinion. Bottom line though is I will work as hard for who ever is the nominee.

2. Dean's is better -- Dean for America |
|
Dean's campaign is not just about getting him elected President but about
1) rejuvenating the Democratic Party and getting people excited about politics who were either apathetic or aliented beforehand
2) restoring morality to this country's use of power
3) rejuvenating this nation's sense of community. Stop the divisions of hate by race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation.
Dean's campaign is about restoring America's ailing democracy. Dean's domain name is eglitarian. Clark's domain name seems narcissic -- Americans for Clark, not Clark for America.

3. I Can't Believe You're Doing This |

Please go piss in someone else's pond. And from someone who parses words for a living, your argument is ridiculous, by the way.

We just received our $400 check from the IRS. We didn't file until August so I wasn't sure if we were going to get a check or not. I also plan to spend some of it to purchase Clark bumperstickers for my family and friends.

6. I was 209 about a half hour ago |

I had hoped the number would be higher by now.
Hope others who donate tell us their number throughout the day - will be interesting to see if there is a surge after announcement.

I think the site is only just starting to get its name out there. By tomorrow, my hope is that it'll be really humming!
