1. My guess is that his approval rating is atleast 10 points lower |
|
Does it matter, at this point?
Can it be predictive of revolt??

15. I would say it would have be lower than 45% |

with the economy going into the tank and high gas prices.

I hope that the bad news isn't what he'll do to improve it. I don't think another "terrorist" attack will work for him this time though. He's in the nutcracker right now, a good place for nuts anyway you look at it.

26. a terra-lert won't be enough |
|
the bushies have cried wolf too often
during the 2004 campaign some reporters started making the connection between bush*'s numbers and terra-lerts
a terra-lert may bump his numbers a couple of points, but it would be a short-lived gain
I fear the bushies would allow a terra-ttack to occur -- but it would be risky and the bushies would have to have tight control of the spin
if (when) a terra-ttack occurs the immediate reaction would be to rally around bush* -- however once the "shock" starts to wear off - people will start to question just how safe are we with bush*'s programs? People may be less likely to believe the cookie-cutter spin about "they hates our freedoms". This means the bushies will need very tight control over the media and do whatever it takes to ensure that only their "version" is reported

16. In other words, still 40% too high for anything to come of it |
|
And it is not only Bush that must be outed in the end, or some other equally evil ratfucker will simply step right in to fill his shoes. The entire corrupt republican congress and their enablers in the Democratic party will need to be held accountable, the entire system will need to be shaken at its roots, the corporate media infrastructure must be shattered and splintered and riven to such a degree that this level of consolidation and conglomeracy can never happen again.
It's a long road between here and there. Some of us will not live to see the day.

29. I thought I saw lower numbers last week |

I believe it was a gallup poll of all things that had the moran* at something like 43% approve. We had better keep our eyes open, wide fucking open something is up, they're not going to get bolton and that will fuck with the timetable, but, something is already in the works.

30. Yeah, it was at 43% then, |
|
which is why this new, 45% claim had to immediately get hyped. Like I've posted before, the lower it goes, the more frightened I get. If you've got it; blog it. Be prepared. Sure, something could save us--and I still contend that something is a massive, Gray Davis-style plunge to 20% or so in a short period of time, too short for them to feel safe trying to pull off another 9/11 in the interim or after his numbers are down that low. But I'm not optimistic. Bottled water, toiletries, maybe extra ammunition if that's going to be your thing. I'm sure few of you need it, but that's my advice.

If they're claming 45%, it must be more like 35-40.

Is this 5% that changes its mind every Friday?
We could have used an extra 5% 6 months ago. Now I like to say to all the people who voted to keep this club of evil idiots in office...SUFFER FOOLS! Suffer with the rest of us. This is all YOUR fault.
Apparently, you are the percentage that should have known better, 5%. So why did you do it? Supreme court appointments? Gay marriage? Abortion issues? Or did you think that John K. would make a WORSE president?
You can change your mind now, 5%, but it is too little, too late. You weren't there when we needed you. Then you conspired with them to form a supposed majority. If you were uninformed then, you should have refrained from voting. There are no excuses, 5%. This was you, right from the start. This is all YOUR doing. I understand that your not proud of yourself, but believe me...I have less understanding for you, than I do for your simple-minded cousin 20%. 20% votes Republican because its simple mind thinks thats how its supposed to be. 20% doesn't know any better. You now show that you DO know better. Do you NOW see what you've done? Repend, repend my friend! Just know that its TOO litlle, TOO late.
5%, you are a disgrace!
