That is, the Time w Ann Coulter on the the cover. . .

Here's the picture from the Time website, you can't really tell here, but in the magazine it looked to my very untrained eye an awful lot like a Cuban Hoyo De Monterrey?

13. Sure, but would Delay's "base" understand and accept this?
While it may be legal, wouldn't they consider it immoral?

12. This may be in Israel not the U.S.
That is the region that the photographer covers, also note the possible menorah shaped lamps in the background.

14. Who cares if it's in Israel? He's still a US Congressman and
that product is from a country they describe as part of the "Axis of Evil."

15. If this cigar was smoked outside the US, it's probably Cuban
Two major reasons: you can't legally get Cuban cigars in this country, and Cuba makes great cigars. (The minor reason is that, for most of the world, Cuba is where cigars come from.)

DeLay's base won't give a shit. Many of them smoke cigars, and a lot of high-end freepers actively participate in the illegal Cuban cigar trade. The ones who don't smoke Cubans want to. What's stopping them is they don't have a connection.

As for the cigar's origin: It's really hard to tell. So far we know we're looking at a mostly-white band probably with red and gold decorations...a LOT of cigars have bands like that. It's at least a Churchill-size cigar. Once again, a lot of Churchills are rolled every year. I was gonna say Remedios Clemenceau, but the band's wrong.

18. But But But . . . .
I looked at the photo in the Magazine again and it is definately a Hoyo de Monterrey. -- this time I was able to read the label.

At any rate, Bush included Cuba in the "Axis of Evil" and said they have WMDs.

How can DeLay support Cuba then?

19. They have really good cigars, that's how
You realize that every freeper in the country is gonna be looking for Cuban HdMs because their hero Tom DeLay was pictured in a "lib'rul" magazine smoking one.

Pigboy's another Cuban fan.
