I'm now supporting two candidates: Clark & Dean |
|
Not as a team, I'm just supporting them both in an effort to get both their names out to the people. I decided since I won't get a vote in any of the primaries, there's really no reason I can't support two strong candidates, both of whom could fairly easily beat Bush until his ass was fire engine red.
Maybe we can switch from calling him a chimp and go to calling him The Baboon, since he's gonna be red-assed come 2004.

Actually, my actual vote in the Pres. election won't mean shit, but if either of them get the Dem nom, I'll be voting for them. Until then, I'll be sending money to both whenever I can, and talking both of them up to different people, depending on the sensibilities of my audience. If I feel certain people would more likely support Dean, I'll give them Dean literature. If I feel they'd more likely be Clark supporters, I'll give them Clark literature.

Except I tend to lean AABB (almost anyone but Bush). There are only a few things I don't like about Clark.

Dean is #3. Edwards jumped into the number 2 spot after the last debates + his announcement speech yesterday.

Though I can't pound the pavement for Edwards, since he voted for the Iraq resolution, he's a good candidate. He's probably my number 4 guy, after Kucinich at #3.

7. I refuse to make a decision until it feels right. |
|
I'll know when I've decided, and I haven't yet. I'm leaning, but I haven't had that epiphany yet. Ok, epiphany is too strong. But you know what I mean.
That's means I support ten candidates currently. Some more than others, but all ten are cool with me.

11. Why am I so surprised? |

Oh, I don't stinkin' know, maybe it's just a weird internal thing in my head or something.
:hi:
Myself, Edwards is my #1 as everyone knows, but Clark is #2. It's interesting how many of us find Clark to be acceptable, one of these days somebody should post a poll about how many of us have him in the #1 or #2 slot. Seems to be most of us.

12. Clark & Dean here too |
|
I really like Dr. Dean, but I am starting to think that Clark can be the Uber Candidate, who can appeal to moderates and swing voters without totaly alienating the progressives/liberals (I'd identify myself as such). He can beat Bush* on the security issue and of course Bush* doesn't have a hope on the economic side. At first look at least Clark has it all.
I just hope that he doesn't have to "run to the left" in the primaries as the biggest issues to all groups on the Dem side should be getting rid of Bush*.

14. I think they're equals, that's why I'm supporting them both |
|
If I thought one was significantly better than the other, I'd focus on supporting that one, but since I like them both equally, I'll support and campaign for both.

13. Nebraska does not have primaries or caucuses? |
|
Was this one of the states where a GOP controlled legislature scrapped the primary to save money?

15. Nebraska is like 85% Republican |
|
That's probably too low, actually. So no Demo caucus here, or if there is one, I haven't heard about it.
