Condi: This is why 16 words are important:
Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan. (FDR, 1941)

29 words Condi, just 29. And those words led to a declaration of war among the United States and the Axis powers in WWII in which millions lost their lives. And you know what? Nobody second guessed those words because we went to war after we were attacked.

Words are important. You should know by now that Chimpy doesn't understand that, that Chimpy thinks words are just bluster and that it's not important to be careful what you say....Condi, you know that.
It's important when the president taunts the enemy to "bring 'em on" and attack our troops....it's important when the president says that African Americans came to the U.S. to be free....and its important when the president makes speeches to start a war......Condi, you should know that even if Smirk doesn't. You are paid to be his minder and his handler.

Before you start a war, check EVERY word you say....even if its only two or three......or "sixteen little words"

1. Very Good! Jacobin!
Actually, "16 words" are a lot when coming from a president's(sic) mouth concerning a pre emptive strike on another Country!

As you point out..look what bush's 3 words "bring em on" wrought...

4. Three words
"We the People" is only three little words. But IMO they're the most momentous three words in the history of the world.

3. Back slapping and back stabbing
"Words are important. You should know by now that Chimpy doesn't understand that,"

How true...she should know that words for the enthroned one are just some noises that go with Yale and Texas back slapping. (No offense to most other graduates and residents).

Have you ever heard a female lie more than she does? It goes with her NSC background. She is not an honorable public servant except to PNACers, Carlyleists, Federalist Societists, and the mil-corp brass.

6. Outstanding, take it and send it to all the editors in your area. Don't
change a thing, but consider adding "We the People" as said in another reply to your thread.

9. There's an old Navy story about an admiral who lost
a battleship. After searching for days, his staff was at a dead end and hated to fill out all the paper work demanded by the Pentagon explaining how the ship was lost.

An ensign came up with the following:

1. Prepare an Inventory Adjustment Voucher (IAV) claiming the battleship was mistakenly identified -- it was really a cruiser.

2. Prepare another IAV claiming the cruiser was mistakenly identified -- it was really a destroyer.

3. Prepare another IAV claiming the destroyer was mistakenly identified -- it was really a cutter.

4. Prepare another IAV claiming the cutter was mistakenly identified -- it was really a small boat.

5. A small boat can be disposed of at the unit level, so just write it off to fair wear and tear.

That's exactly what Bush's handlers are doing.

10. Republicans Went Ape Over 11 Words
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky..." Astounding GOP hypocrisy, but I'm not surprised.

12. Its only words and words are all I have to ....
make you go away...paraphrasing the BeeGees and hoping Bush and his administration, ESPECIALLY them, will be defeated and we can return to sanity in 2005 and truly begin the new millenium as the progressive forward looking people we are meant to be. This administration may be the trial our founding fathers warned us about!

I feel so ashamed. I hope that she gets caught up deep enough in this that we will never hear from her again after she gets run out of town.

14. The White House is trying to limit the focus to only the uranium lies.
But the uranium lies are a very, very small part of the lies about the Bush Invasion of Iraq. The public will lose interest if the White House is successful at limiting the debate to only the uranium lies.

The lies about the Bush Invasion of Iraq started a few weeks or months after 9/11 and included when the decision was made to invade Iraq. In March of 2002 Bush said: "Fuck Saddam. We're taking him out." How many lies were told about no decision having been made to invade Iraq in the following 12 months?

The lies also included a litany of false justifications for the invasion, not just the uranium lies. How many lies were told about the existence of specific quantities of WMD and the evidence of such existence? How many lies were told about why the US could not reveal the location of the WMD to the UN weapons inspectors? How many lies were told about Iraq's connection to 9/11? Or Al Qaeda?

Only 16 words? I think it is likely that Bush and the people in or connected to his administration have spoken fewer than 16 truthful words total about the Bush Invasion of Iraq fron conception to inception to current total fuck up.

19. Just sixteen little words?
Edited on Sun Jul-13-03 10:21 PM by theHandpuppet
How about these nine little words, Condi?

"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."

Or even fewer words, seven this time:

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods" (Which includes his oil, we presume)

Or let's take just four simple words:

"Thou shalt not kill.

Since when did the number of words determine the significance of the message? Seems pretty clear to me, Condi -- you and the entire Bushreich are damned to hell for your lying, for your greed, for the blood of thousands who died as a result of "sixteen little words". I have only one word left for you: GUILTY!
