Poll question: Who will be the first candidate to go negative against Carol Moseley Braun |
|
She's not going away. Sooner or later somebody will be desperate enough for her voters to go negative. Who will it be?
(Actually, I rather suspect that one campaign has already targeted Braun, albeit in a dirtytricks, behindtheback kind of way. Anyway, the question here is which campaign will explicitly go negative first--a much riskier move.)

1. I don't think anyone will |
|
As much as I like her, she represents little threat of winning the nomination
Therefore, nobody will take a risk at alienating voters by attacking her

3. Dunno who, but I know *how*! |

Conservatives are putting out "feelers" about saying she took money from a nation where slavery occurs. It's an interesting tie-in with the latest * speech; the Moseley-Braun allegations have been circulating via email for a while, and are beginning to crop up on right vs. left debate boards.
Watch for it!

No Democrat would be that stupid. In fact, I think that most Democrats like her. kkkarl, however, has been having his rethuglican minnions make the most outrageous statements lately in an effort to shore up support among the extremist base. For example, the rather stupid & offensive statement that gays are intolerant bigots. :silly: :wtf:
