If only Bolton's ex-wife would come forward and. . . .
. . . set the record straight re: swing clubs, perversion and the true nature of our new un ambassador. She might change history.

4. Bolton
Penthouse publisher Larry Flynt revealed (I think about 3 or 4 months ago) that, according to a reliable source Bolton frequented Plato's Retreat in NYC with his wife during the 70's and 80's. Appears that he liked to watch (and pleasure himself) while forcing his wife to carry on with a bevy of men. I don't know if any more has come of it, but I couldn't help wonder at the time if the 'reliable source' wasn't the ex-wife herself.

15. more info here
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/306892p-262565c.html

According to New York Daily News' gossip collumn, ex-wife Christina Bolton is keeping it mum for now. She's probably being paid off.

2. It's a nice thought, but I don't think that would change a thing.
Those stories have already been aired, and it hasn't slowed the WH down one but.

6. Bolton
It wouldn't keep him from his appointment, but it might just hamstring his agenda. I fear for what he might do with re: to Iran. Unfortunately, our ousting of Saddam left the Shi'a-majority Iraq vulnerable to Iran's sphere of influence, and I'm afraid that * and Bolton (hoping to put a prettier face on the Iraq outcome) see no alternative but to interfere with Iraq. Possible new war potential.

12. not much
Nothing anyone can do but hope to God that the ex-wife, 'reliable source' or anyone else who knows of this will now come forward. This is just my personal plea for one of these people to set the record straight.

8. Didn't a similar story take down
the repuke running against Obama in Illinois?

This one hasn't been well publicized. If the ex or someone else who was involved does come forward with a bunch of salacious details, it would, at the very least, embarrass the shit out of the chimp.

11. What difference would that make?
Everyone knows he is a lying, misogynistic, abusive, incompetent criminal. Why would some fetishes hurt his nomination?!?

17. Naw, he'd pull a Gannon and claim he was born-again and persecuted.
Edited on Mon Aug-01-05 10:32 AM by progressivebydesign
SHowing the ugly, sordid, truth about these sleazeballs never works. All they have to do is the Republican defense du jour, 'I'm a persecuted born again who made mistakes in my past'. Voila!!! Saved and SANITIZED for your protection!!!!

on edit: I mean, let's be real. We couldn't get America or the media to give a rats ass about a HOOKER working in the White House under questionable credentials, and having extraordinary access, then WHY would we think that the words of a WOMAN would have any sway.

18. Too bad the falsifying of evidence and lying to congress
isn't enough for the Dems to make war over. Too bad intimidation and planting evidence, witness tampering, and other means of general illegality aren't issues Dems fight over.

20. Christina
His ex-wife is a lobbyist, so money should work just fine. No need to get messy . . yet.

Plus, I'm not so sure that Christina's story is too much different or sad than that of any other high-ranking repugnicon wife in DC these days. Hell, look at Laura; she's living proof of what it's like to be married to the anti-Christ.
