How influential is Karl Rove??? |
|
just curious, are we overrating the guy? Just how "involved" is he? Is he with the White House staff ever day, or just Bush or Cheney call on him periodically?

1. Bush's Brain is his well deserved nickname |
|
KKKarl is attached to President Stupid. KKKarl has been the "brains" behind the redistricting & the recall.
Yeah, KKKarl is a big player in BushCo. He wrote their playbook.

Nothing is decided at the White House without Rove's approval.
He is all about the politics and this is the Most political WH in history.

4. He's like Goebbels (sp) |

How influential was Goebbels?
He IS overrated though as far as his "genious" label. He's a ham fisted thug actually. No genious about his tactics...Pure backstabbing smear. Nothing subtle or deep about his moves. That's why they're getting played time and time again. By the Saudi's, the Russians, The Chinese and now the CIA. Rove is constantly outmaneuvered because he has one game: Attack. When you know what's coming, it's easy to counter effectively.

7. The phrase that keeps being repeated re: Rove |
|
is "He not only sees the chess board but sees it twenty moves ahead". That is saying something, like it or not. Few people seem to have that ability to think so far ahead. Rove is very formidable, make no mistake. Bush is zero without him. In essence Bush is Rove. Bush is the face and Rove is the brains. On the domestic front Rove controls it all.

9. He's the "Campaign Brain" |
|
Basically, this Administration runs as if it is ALWAYS in campaign mode. EVERYTHING is done for just the right exposure. Want to cut taxes? Hand-pick a crowd and put a sign up that says JOBS or GROWTH. Have Bush give the SAME stump speech 30 times. Want a war to win an election? Hand-pick a crowd and have Bush stand in front of a massive flag while saying DANGER and TERRORISTS, or EVIL, and repeat 30 times. Supposedly win a war? Hand-pick an aircraft carrier, delay it's arrival, have Bush fly in a really slow plane, put up a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED sign and THAT'S A WRAP. Instant campaign commercials.
All of this from the devious mind of Karl Rove.
