Conservative news Websites silent on Savage Firing |
|
I just browsed Newsmax and WorldNetDaily, two Conservative news webpages that will usually will be the first to tell you if Hillary's book has dropped at all in the best seller list or if Bill CLinton farted. Yet I found no mention of Savage's firing by MSNBC. I was especially curious about WorldNetDaily given that they prominently advertise Savages book. Nothing zip nada. What a shame!

I have only listened to Savage for about the past two months and only off and on. He struck me as unbelievably shallow and just a mean guy who often would never allow a caller to flesh out their opinion before slapping them down with non sequiturs and verbal abuse. He was the anti Rush.
Yeah, Old Anal Cyst is friggin William Jennings Bryan, isn't he?

9. Ha! This is funny...and sad at the same time |

It appears to me that Michael Savage is losing his mind. His politics are all over the place and his rants verge on psychotic.
He's become someone that when I hear him described as conservative I cringe. He underscores the stereotype that we're bigots. His manner of delivering his message undermines his credibility.

Obviously this person doesn't read their own forum very often, eh?

The reason his show didn't succeed is because of the ridiculous time slot they had it on. Saturday 2:00 PM (Pacific). What moron scheduled that time slot? It was destined to fail at that time. Based on the story he was set up. It's sad that fringe groups can put so much pressure on today's media while inverse pressure is labeled hate speech. Mr. Savage has a particular style that is purposeful to get people to think about the message. It's a shame that he has been taken off the air.

I listen to Savage a bit more often than this, but IMO you got it exactly right. He actually reminds me of so many people on the left, who likewise go nuts at the first sign of any serious disagreement with their views.

It amazes me how you, and many others do a downer on a guy who speaks his mind. Free Speech it was once called, and now that your GOP is pandering to the gays for 2004 votes, you blindly follow like a little puppy dog.
Just remember my pacifist friends... Your daddy's, if they are passed, are giving you a swift kick in the ass. They did not tolerate the sodomites back in their day, so why the hell are you? This is a conservative forum. The conservatives I am(or used to be) familiar with are guided by the good book. So why do accept homosexuality? Or are you just pretending to be religiously pricipled?
It was not too long ago, a bimbo said something about Bush. Everybody dogged her as she should have been. Now the faggots are gaining ground and you say nothing... just scoff at the folks who do. If you do speak out, it is as soft and gentle as can be...Why?
I hope you are proud of yourself. Being a fellow American and see where our country is headed, I am not proud of you.

You can almost see some of the Freepers unhinging
Oh and just checked on his site (I need a bath) no mention yet of him being fired... I wonder if Savage is just becoming unglued... looses a lawsuit, gets fired from two stations and now MSNBC...

5. You'd think they'd be howling at the moon re. "Liberal Media" machinations |
|
Yet strangely, only silence.
Guess they didn't want to get into the specifics of the, uh, termination of "Mr." Wiener and his little weekly television Horst Wessel informercial.

after they made the decision to put that scum on the air I stopped watching that station entirely. They knew what they doing. They don't deserve any thanks as far as I am concerned.
