"National Security" smokescreen, Cheney, Novak, and the 9/11 report |
|
So, how come Dick Cheney can STILL keep the identities of those who met with him to help design the energy policy? His standard response was that it was in the interests of National Security. He has defied several court orders, yet the Right defends this. After the Right forced Hillary to name her Health Care task force consultants in less than a month and a half.
Novak (now, you can't tell me somebody who joins in the chorus of "Clinton is guilty of X crimes" can't be aware of this dinger!) breaks National Security Interests in publishing the name of an undercover CIA agent. Yet he refuses to name those who told him the name. The spinners are trying to get everybody to believe that this is not nukular in heat.
The 9/11 report had 27 pages of blacked-out material, in the interests of National Security. Those who were involved in the 27 blacked-out pages said "Go ahead and release them, we're not afraid." Well, one did decide that he was afraid of what would be found out, and his name rhymes with Schmeorge Schmoubleyew Schmush.
We cannot let this die. A federal crime has been committed, and it didn't involve a stained blue dress on a trumped up charge which started out as an accounting issue.
Hoping to be dancing with glee 1/20/2005. I ain't celebrating yet.

2. The Republicans don't suffer under the burden of having ethics |
|
They merely say whatever they can get away with at the time, and do not worry about contradicting it later. They probably snicker everytime we rail at them for being hypocrites, since they really don't believe what they were saying then or are saying now. Whatever supports their position.
