Did anybody catch last night's Charlie Rose? |
|
He had Jeffrey Sachs and a woman from the Carnegie Institute(?) for Int'l Peace, both of whom were hammering the Iraq misadventure we find ourselves in. I think Rose was somewhat agitated, though he should have known that Sachs would be brutal.

Tries to come across as this super-person who knows everything about politics, sports, entertainment, and really doesn't like it when his guests have strong opinions.
I've stopped watching him.

3. Jeffrey Sachs : their Iraq argument for war didn't make any sense |
|
I saw it and saw Jeffrey Sachs say things like "The administration was incompetent"....."don't know what they are doing"......."their Iraq argument for war didn't make any sense"......
and the woman was pretty much saying the same thing.
I remember it because I was cracking up and happy someone finally not hold back in telling it like it was! "the Good going in Iraq is outweight by soldiers dying"......"the attacks are increasing from week to week, and are getting more effective"......"it's impossible to control Iraq"...."would take 18 years to locate all of the small arms currently in Iraq"
Finally, real analysis!
