on cnn about how all river traffice has been stopped for all the crops and goods that go up and down.....in what....barges. some barges have sunk....well there must be alot of non sunk barges around.

Is it me or is this not the craziest dumbest bunch of idiots. Almost anyone could have figured out how to do this job.

9. Why weren't hospitals fortified with swat/marines and supplies?
The failure to respond to this disaster will never be forgotten. And its not a slow failure (drip, drip) like deprivation of healthcare or educational cutbacks. It is a big raw, naked fuck you to poor people.

how many of those sandbags will it take? And did you notice the copter launched the harness with the bag? How many of those do you think there are in the area?
There are freight containers, barges and vehicles lying all over the place.

3. Seriously...
These 3,000 lb sand bags are hardly a cubic yard! I suggested sinking train cars along the levee to act as anchors to sand bags because once they start pumping, sand bags alone won't hold back the lake.
