Governor appointees/ Industrial Relations/ Sexual Harrassment |
|
Since as governor of California, one gets to appoint to the Division of Industrial Relations, the Workers Compensation Appeals Board and whole host of labor related positions, what would one expect to come out of a governor who has openly admitted to harrassing and assaulting women in the workplace?
Discuss.

1. Arnold seems to want to pretend that he will be a different person |
|
as the governor than he was as a bodybuilder/actor. He seems to want people to think that whatever role he takes in life that he just goes with what is expected for that job.
For bodybuilders it is gang-banging women as part of the workout. For actors it is sexually assaulting and humilitating women.
He seems to want us to think that he just reflects what society expects and that there is nothing wrong in what he has ever done.
To your question - he would say that NOW he is prepared to do what is right by women.
I think whoever votes for him, must be as deluded as he is.

4. this is like asking what you expect out of a Republican |
|
he'll apply as much right-wing stricture as he can to those boards...you think McClintock would be different even if he wasn't a womanizer like AHH-nold?

5. So a man who has been and admitted being a sexual predator |
|
will have governing authority over sexual predators. Makes about as much sense to me as everything else in life right now.
Oh yeah, no on the recall.

Hopefully it is an indication of the volatility of his support. I am hoping that MAJOR papers will finish him off with the ENRON meeting this weekend.

Since the Governor can commute sentences and delay executions, how would a Governor who has suspicion cast over him about his possible rapes and sexual assault of women view the sentences of rapists and other sex offenders, especially those who may be lifers or even those condemned to die?
