The only thing more disgusting than Arnold being a Hitler-loving fascist |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 12:06 AM by AP
is if Rove and Bush KNEW he was a Hitler-loving fascist aspirant and they HOPED this information would get out and the media still got him elected and then Americans started thinking, hmmm, maybe fascism isn't so bad.
I know that Bush is overtly trying to undo the New Deal and everything FDR stood for. But I think he's covertly trying to do what his grandfather aspired to, and that's to turn America into a fascist state. That's where this is all going, folks. And politicians like Arnold are part of the plan.
You know, if the media and Diebold AccuVoteTS ("Tough Shit") have their ducks in a row, we're going to end up with the unelected Arnold, and resistance to fascism is going to start to fade, and we're going to be just a little bit closer to the Fourth Reich, American Style. The 'Democratic Underground' is going to take on a whole new meaning.

who seem like they have a crush on Arnold or they're under some kind of spell which has robbed them of their common sense and critical faculties.
I'm wondering if everyone else here isn't a little high and watching too much TV.

3. Isn't that the fucking truth? |

It's very hard to tell the effect here. I really think his polls and popularity are completely manufactured,. I am GREATLY concerned that they got 12 touch screen voting machines in LA county.
I am looking at Riverside where they use them going to Arnold and Mc Clintock and thinking they will err towards Camejo in Berkely. I am VERY CONERNED about the voting machines.

I spoke to an acquaintance yesterday, a Republican, who mentioned she had been polled about the recall. I asked her for the details and this is what she said:
"When I answered the phone, the person asked me if there were any registered Republicans in my household. I said I was a Republican, so the pollster identified herself and proceeded to ask me questions about the recall. First if I was in favor of it and if I was, whom was I voting for on the second part."
So I am thinking that they are only polling Republicans. If this is true then Arnold at 30 or 40 percent among Republicans isn't good numbers is it? Of course when it gets published it looks like a random sample.
My impression is that the polls are slanted to reflect what the opposition wants to hear. I wonder why our camp isn't taking polls?

10. That might have been a private poll and they were only interested |
|
in how the Republican who commissioned it was doing among registered Republicans. It seem crazy not to get as much information as possible so long as you had the person on the line, but if you're paying lots of money to get one particular bit of information, you don't want to waste time on the phone with people whose opinions you don't care to know about.

Arnold is the perfect face for projection of our American insecurity into an unified national media millitary front.
I am sure that this is going to be an inflection point in US history. It can go either way. The local media was hitting Arnold for the first time tonight. I think this is the big battle for momentum as the 2004 race really gets going.
