Pearls of wisdom from sen kyl (courtesy of C&L) |
|
Kyl says: the question is if people know year after year after year a natural disaster occurs in a particular place and people continue to build there and want to live there, should they bear the responsibility of buying insurance or should everyone else bear the responsibility?
So when foreseeable disasters happen in Arizona is it safe to say sen kyl will not be in favor of FEMA providing aid to the State of Arizona?
His statement kind of reminds me of a scene from the movie Airplane where a news station is having a point/counter-point to the plane crashing and one of the two news people says, "They knew the risks when they bought their tickets. I say let it crash."
