Arnie, Maria, Bill Simon being lauded at Crystal Cathedral service today. |
|
http://www.seeing-stars.com/Churches/CrystalCathedral.shtmlIt was on ABC at 9 EST. I was just switching channels. Why would a church be joking with and praising him so much after a week like this? Who is this Schuller guy? I felt rather sick when I saw this, again the mixing of the religion and the politics until the lines blur.

attracts a lot of rock ribbed Orange County repukes who have confused "Christianity" with "The Power of Positive Thinking." It's all about developing a positive self-image - God loves you so learn to love yourself.
Anyhow, most of the people watching on tv and attending in person would be more likely to vote McClintock, so Ahnold is attempting to grab as many of those votes as he can. Schuller is just glad to have a celebrity in there. He loves the spotlight.

6. Well, the applause for him sounded real to me. |
|
You are right, Schuller looked in hog heaven to be praising Arnie. He really did.
Why is the party that takes such pride in their so-called morality pushing someone like Arnold? There was Bill Simon beside him, applauding for him. Why? Why did Bush express his admiration for him?
Sure has me confused.

13. Here's a Liberal Christian view of Schuller: |
|
Schuler uses "Christ" etc. to promotes his own unique theology "the power of positive thinking". See
http://www.LiberalsLikeChrist.Org/about/schuller.html.
See what Christ might say about the "Christian Coalition" & "Religious Right" imposters.

18. Good grief, I did not know this stuff. |
|
"Hour of White Power Reverend Robert H. Schuller relies on a man with ties to Neo-Nazis to "build religious understanding" by Stan Brin
A year-long investigation has revealed that the Crystal Cathedral's Reverend Robert H. Schuller relies on a man with ties to American neo-Nazis in a campaign to build relations between people of different faiths....."
I see the word Nazi more and more and more these days.

Oh, dear lord, we are thankful for the opportunity to elevate to the office of governor of this state, a man who has led the way to reteach us all the submissive role that women, not only in marital bonds but in day to day life, should play to that of the male. Yes, dear lord, we thank you for sending this man to single handedly demonstrate what happens to women who have the audacity to work rather than stay home raising children. :eyes:
