Talking to a friend of mine |
|
She is a Republican...we've had words, but we do speak. Anyway, her husband is a boat captain, and she told me he was called back to work. Apparently there is a cruise ship off the port in NO that they are using for the federal employees. I just wanted to let you all that were worried about them know that they are living in the lap of luxury down there. No need to give anyone else lights--they have what they need.

3. actually I can see that one |
|
and I will explain why (though I'd rather have this used by First Responders)
Teh cruise ship is more or less independent from teh grid and the city... so they can more or less work independenty... but a USN Marine Transport ship would serve the same goal and after docking all essencial functions can be done by a skeleton crew with the rest of the crew working in the relief effort
Bot on this one there is actually some logic
