Scarborough Country: Tony Perkins already politicizing Rita??? |
|
Edited on Sat Sep-24-05 12:52 AM by Cyrano
I was out tonight playing nickle and dime poker with some people I know. The TV was on, but they weren't paying attention.
I dropped out of a hand and watched Scarborough talking to Anthony Perkins, whom I don't know much about. But I saw enough to identify him as a "Jesus Freak." It seemed like an interview from the Norman Bates motel, but it took me a moment to grasp that it was "real."
And before you get pissed off about the "Jesus Freak" statement, there really are people who belong in straight jackets.
I didn't get to hear much of the dialog, but the little I heard sounded like some sort of alien (non-human) conversation.
I won't comment about the content of the "interview," but with a deadly hurricane bearing down on the Texas/Louisiana coast, we didn't need some nutcase doing a Jesus pitch.
If anyone watched this piece of Scarborough crap, I'd appreciate some more detail.

As long as Houston doesn't flood and people aren't stranded on rooftops again, the Repugnicans and their enablers will consider any response...no matter how little, how token and poorly executed as a "victory". We'll start hearing "well the preznit really stepped up to this storm"...blah blah blah.
The sad thing is...those who want to believe this asshat walks on water start strutting their stuff again, and the "sheeple" will shrug their shoulders, figured things are ok and go back to watching Elimidate.
