Possible Arnold Scenario: Three strikes and you're out! |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 03:13 PM by Must_B_Free
1. Arnold wins the recall election.
2. Women press charges about groping incidents and get convictions. (at least one of them is captured on video)
3. on 3rd groping conviction against arnold (i.e. Third Strike) he gets mandatory jail time.
A caller to Tom Hartman's program said he works at a jail and there is a guy there now serving life for the third strike at groping women.
Can Arnold serve as governor from jail?
I must say his "apology" served as some form of admission, did it not. It could certainly be used against him in the court.

That the statute of limitations on these crimes is one year. It is unlikely that he will face criminal prosecution.

There might be a libel suit from England coming. Keep your fingers crossed.
However the bulk of the groping incidents are too old to press charges. Probably why Arnie waited till now to run.

6. Whatever suites arise will be civil |
|
There is a one year statute of limitations so none of them can result in criminal charges.
A flurry of civil lawsuits would be just fine though.
