You know the Protest wasn't just about the Iraq Invasion/Occupation. |

It WAS a big march. It was about getting the war OVER. But it was about much more, many of which are tightly interrelated with the Invasion and its root causes...
It was also:
Anti-Bush (100%)
Pro-People Who Fight him (Not pleased with those who appease)
Anti-NeoCON (100%)
Pro-Progressive and the People that Fight Neo-CONs (A good number)
Anti-Conservatives (Maybe not all)
Pro-Liberals (Maybe not all)
Anti-Conservative Economic Policies (Close to 100%)
Pro-People-Egalitarian Economic Policies (Maybe half or so)
Anti-Right (100%)
Pro-Left (Who knows, depends which "Left" I guess)
Anti-Racist (I hope 100%)
Pro-Pluralism and People of Color (I hope 100%)
Anti-Religious Fundamentalist (Ok, maybe not some of the Islamic types..)
Pro-Women (90%??)
Anti-Oppression (?)
Pro-Oppressed Peoples (I imagine a lot)
Anti-Poverty (Most I would guess)
Pro-Policies that eliminate that weight (I hope all)
Anti-Over Consumption (In theory at least)
Pro-Earth (A good number)
Anti-Fascist (90%???)
Pro-Power to People (???)
Anti-What's Happened to the Poor in the Gulf Coast; The way they've been treated is shameful (100%)
Pro-Supporting their recovery (100%)
EDit: Maybe I'm just a multi-tasker but I didn't imagine that there were so many one trick ponies here at DU....
Anything else?

4. Some categories you listed are mutually exclusive: |
|
You describe the march as:
Anti-Religious Fundamentalist (Ok, maybe not some of the Islamic types..)
Then, having noted the march (or at least its sponsors) included Islamic Fundamentalists, you go on to say the march was:
Pro-Women (100%)
Anti-Oppression (?)
Anti-Fascist (100%)
Nothing that includes Islamic Fundamentalism -- bound with Christian and Jewish Fundamentalism as the most savagely misogynistic force on earth -- can be described as "pro-women 100 percent," much less "anti-fascist 100 percent." Indeed, by many definitions, religious fundamentalism IS fascism -- which makes the "anti-oppression" statement untrue too.

They're changed.
Also there is absolutely zero science in my numbers!
EDIT: Except where I put a simple (?). That means no telling.
