What's up with Alameda County? |
|
They have Diebold touch screens and only absentee ballots are showing up (70% against the recall) with 0% precincts reporting.

4. diebold counties delayed |
|
to make sure recall would pass without the "fixing" of results. Funny how electronic areas were often the LAST to report, hmmmmmmm. The totals of the Sec. of State website were EXTREMELY strange, showing results with 0% reporting. I saw it too, how is that possible?

... of some of the vote was due to absentee ballots being counted first, consequently showing 0% of precincts showing. What I found extremely strange was that the official state summary was behind by several tens of thousand of votes from what was showing on CNN at the same point of time.
Anyway, yep the same thought occurred to me in the middle of the night, that the delay in reporting results from those counties with e-voting could have been a worried response that they could have (especially Alameda) made the networks look like fools.
