5 PA guard troops killed in Iraq Wednesday. Philadelphia Inquirer can't

find any room in the front section for the story.

It went on the very bottom right corner of the second section ("City and Region") today. At the same time, the front page of the paper is splashed with big color photo and huge story about three local teens killed in a car wreck.

And in the online edition, the story doesn't even make the home page cut. You have to do a search to find it.

What can the families of these dead soldiers think when they see this -- maybe they already know how little importance our society gives the lives and deaths of the soldiers engaged in Bush's Noble Cause.

It looks as if this is becoming the forgotten war.
