Statement of Congressman Kucinich On David Kay's Congressional Testimony
From the only candidate who voted against the Iraq War Resolution AND the USA PATRIOT Act:

WASHINGTON - October 3 - Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH), leader of the opposition to the war against Iraq in the House, issued the following statement on David Kay's report to Congress:
"David Kay's inability to find any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq only proves that this Administration launched a war based on falsehoods and lies. Clearly, Iraq's weapons did not pose an imminent threat to our nation and military action was not necessary to disarm Iraq.

"Now, the United States has occupied an unstable country where our soldiers are in harms way, squandered all international sympathy, fostered increased terrorist attacks in the region, and have handed away billions and billions of American taxpayer dollars."

3. I have a question - with all those spy satellites we have that can
tell the difference between a soccerball and a melon from space, plus the fact that Saddam didn't have anything even remotely capable of finding those spy satellites, let alone knock them out of space,

WHY HAVEN'T THEY BEEN ABLE TO KEEP TRACK OF THE WMDS THAT THEY SAID THEY KNEW WERE THERE??? THEY SAID THE WMDS WERE THERE, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY'D BE ABLE TO KEEP AN EYE ON THEM!!!

Sorry about the caps rant, but it must be pounded into their heads.
