Appeal to Americans' sense of fairness?
Edited on Wed Oct-08-03 10:32 AM by msmcghee
We dems are so worried about fair play and honesty in campaigns, in candidates and in our leadership. We think this will become obvious to the morans and they will vote for the "nicer" dems. hah!

Most Americans - now that the pukes have so deftly brought us into the age of total never-ending war - know in their gut that in war you do whatever you need to to win. There are no rules when your life is at stake.

So the more the pukes demonstrate their total disdain for rules and fair play - the more they will be elected to office. Arnie the Terminator was the perfect meme for today's American voter.

The more we dems wring our hands over fairness issues, and respecting our opponents, the weaker and less able to deal with our enemies we seem to the "morans". They love to see virile pukes like Arnie trashing ninny dems on their way to getting Osamma and Saddam.

Carl Rove knows this very well.

3. Oh but you know
there are different standards for the Pukes than us...
we are branded as cheaters by the media all the time.

Seriously though... I think you are right... we have NO sense of fair play... but we do have to work around the issue I mentioned above.

I loved watching Fox right after Rush had his day from hell. Their idea of fair and balanced was to point out Dems hypocracy (totally ignoring their own) and not bother with the issue at hand.

4. I Agree
To many Dems are afraid to get dirty. This is no longer a skirmish, it's an all out war.

The other side is out to win, and they are not above using every dirty trick in the book. In order to defeat an enemy you have to be willing to fight him on his terms. They have already shown many times
that they are willing to compromise their so called pricinples to gain
power.

If Dems keep trying to remain above the fray, then we have surely lost.

One only respects an enemy if that enemy shows respect to you, but
irregardless of that the whole point in a war is to win.

5. This goes for your Dem. TV personalities too...like Begala and Carville
I don't know how many times I have seen either of them (more often Begala) saying things like "I think the president is a nice or honest or decent man" and then say "but I don't agree with his policies"...This seems dumb to me...They are reinforcing to the public, the Republican claim that Bush is a great guy....Why do they do this? I can't believe they really believe it...If we can see what a deceitful liar he is, surely they can too....I don't mean they need to insult him when they mention him, but why give him ANY PRAISE????

6. Yes, but even more important . .
. . they are reinforcing to the public the idea,

. . that if we were in power, if we caught Osamma we'd probably let him go because the GI who arrested him forgot to read him his rights.

That's what's killing us among the "morans".
