Why didn't Bush nominate Bill Bennett for the Supreme Court? |
|
Okay, he's never been a judge, but so what? The wingnuts all know where he stands on abortion, etc., and they would back him to the death. The Republican senate would go along with Junior even if he appointed Attila the Hun.
And there will always be a few Dems who will back virtually anyone, just to get reelected. (Yes, I mean you, Sen. Nelson of FL, and a few others of your ilk.)
What happened to our country? Let me repeat that. WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR COUNTRY?

5. " ... just a high-tech lynching." |

Wouldn't you just love to see Bennett nominated, interrogated by Dems, and coming back with that Clarence Thomas reply?
And you can just see Orin Hatch and the other thugs nodding and agreeing.
