Dissention For What? I'll Tell You For What, For Nothing!
What a sobering realization. Everything is going to hell and there is NOTHING you can do to stop it. The powers that be, shadow or otherwise, are waging war on the planet. There is a master plan, and we are not part of it. Us common folk, inhabitants of the earth, cannot stop it.

I have held a optimistic view for some time that dissenters can make a difference. But can we? We can't even save a state from a hostile takeover orchestrated by evil utilizing America's weapon of mass destruction, the media. How can you fight this. I can't even get my own husband to register to vote. He tells me "there is nothing you can do about it, just quit bitching about things you can't change." I finally have my parents convinced, but they don't want to become activists, they don't want to 'get involved.'They tell me to just forget about it, there is nothing you can do about it, focus on what you can change and what you have in front of you.

I am a fighter, have had to fight my entire life, one demon or another. I have eaten alot of dirt, but always have gotten back up for one more round. I am down now, I feel that the fight is futile.

The way that I see things, on this dark and dreary morning, is one person cannot effect change. That is what we all are individually, one person trying to wake people up. They want to sleep though. They are too busy with their own lives and problems and want to stay in the pink cloud of denial. Maybe if they don't think about it, it will go away. I've talked and talked and talked, and they finally say "you know something, you're right, it's awful, pass the salt would ya."

It is a sad day.

8. Enjoy your victory. Let's see how happy you are
when your lying, satan worshipping, in the closet, worst president ever gets terminated. I'll come over to FR and visit you then.

2. Sure there's something you can do to stop it.
Use SATIRE to help them see themselves. When reality becomes more absurd than a person can ever imagine on his own, that's the time to use SATIRE to show people how they really are. It happened with "Wag the Dog," and if you can show middle class Americans how they are making their lives worse by not really understanding what's at stake when they vote, I think there'll be more than a few lightbulbs turning on.

Humor conqueors all.

3. Bring the battle closer to home
Follow the GOP example set. School board and city assembly are the beginning. A great politician once said "All Politics are Local" I believe that was Tip O'Neil and I believe he is quite correct. Don't give up just make sure you vote in all the seemingly unimportant elections and we will overcome. Yesterday we had an election in my hometown and elected a progressive mayor and city assembly. We threw out the old conservatives. Replaced the school board also. The fundamentalist are no longer on it. It is a bright spot on a gloomy day. Fight for our country each city at a time.

i mean really people. its one stinkin election. its california. its Big Dumb Animal as governor! He is useless, and will be a one term joke. Too many people are friggin defeatists! Believing their own hype that we are in some spinning vortex into the icy cold left handed spinning maelstrom of hell! For the love of God (yes I believe in God) get up and fight man! If people start thinking this way then all this crap about how we should all move to canada, europe, etc, and how its useless and right wing nazi this that and the other will rule the world all hail BFEE 4 life with the NWO/PNAC/Scott Hall/Kevin Nash/Diebold/Wolfpac crap will be a self fulfilling prophecy! The idea is to stop it now in its infancy rather than be a whiny little punk!

Now quityerbitchin and push harder! Only way we can win here!

7. Sometimes I wonder ...
if what appears bad at the onset, is really a move in the right direction, regardless of how painful it is. I'm not talking about Arnold's ascension, which is a huge mistake. I'm talking about the removal of Grey Davis. I mean, if he was not responsive to the people, just who was he responsive to? There is a reason I don't declare myself a Democrat. Because not all Democratic leaders really are committed to Democratic ideals.

9. agreed, instead of a defeatist attitude, we should have the more
reason to fight like hell! I am not giving up. I think people were angry at Davis for being so tied to special interest, the same thing is happening with Bushco. Maybe this will be the start of something good. (NOT arnie's win) I can only hope that people are starting to realize that special interest politicians only harm the states and the country. I am more pissed then ever and have renewed vigor to see that 2004 goes our way.
