8. The question is whether you think he'll be convicted |
|
The 20% probably are paying attention 1) There has been no ruling on defense motions 2) The jury has not been chosen yet. 3) It's hard to predict what a jury will do 4) If the prosecution does a lousy job of presenting its case, like say...oh...the Michael Jackson trial. They likely will NOT get a conviction. Choosing too early to tell is probably more an indicator that they ARE paying attention.

9. It's telling that his defense for the first indictment was that the law |
|
didn't exist when the supposed infraction took place. Looks to me like he did it. So he should go down for the new money laundering indictment.

Subject: I hope he gets what he so deserves. Message: His hypocritical ravings are nauseating. I like the information on another thread that mentions the prosecutor being accused of a partisan witch hunt, yet in his career he has prosected 4 out of 5 cases against Dems. (Of course that should also serve as a remineder that we have some shit kicking to do ourselves).

12. I would vote "No" on something like this |
|
not because I don't think he's guilty, but because I don't think he will be convicted. I just don't see it happening.

But need to keep my fingers crossed with the current regime, he'll probably get a raise and a new appointment. It doesn't seem like the republicans want to clean house. Like dumbya said, "What didn't go right"?
