Update on my personal call from Tom Delay:
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 08:51 PM by babylonsister
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=180x21318

I got another one this afternoon about the second indictment, as well as some mail from ole Tom.
He sent some propaganda stating unequivocally that he is innocent, Ronnie Earle is the scum of the earth, and "A Legal Analysis of Earle's Case in a Nutshell".
On the bottom is a detachable section with blocks to fill in and mail back.
This is how that starts: Tom count on me... and ends with, "Our team can't rely on the mainstream media, so I am"

Standing with Tom______ (insert name and e-mail address).

If you check the next box, you inform ole Tom that you will be engaging friends and family so they get the whole story.

I'm very seriously considering sending the whole shebang back torn up, in his self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Poor ole Tom.

Edit to add: I just went to try to find the full analysis on poor ole Tom's site, which he directed me to in his propaganda, and, oh my!, it's not working/I cannot open it! The mind ponders...

5. Send it back with a bunch of shredded documents inside
I like to use shredded take-out menus, junk mail, and those nylon peds you get in shoe stores like DSW.

7. Make Tomigami with it!
. . . By folding Tom’s mailouts in unusual and creative ways - we affectionately call it Tomigami – you can have some cool stuff. Forget using them as placemats, fish wraps, or floors for birdcages! We’ve gone far beyond that.

BTW, I read your profile and 'aviation' intrigued me. There's a lot of that going on in my house. Pray tell, what's your interest?

17. "Aviation"..
Well.. I used to work for a company that sold after-market parts for commercial aircraft.. and it's kinda crazy, but... at 36 years old, I still get that same sense of awe and wonder every time I go to the airport and see a plane take off or land that little kids get.. I'd love to get back into the industry again..maybe get an A&P license (if the music thing doesn't work out, which its looking like maybe it actually will, though..)

21. My husband works in the industry, and you would
get along greatly! He's like a kid; he wanted to take a flight to the Phillipines for some bbq sauce, and get the sauce, and return. It could be a 24 hour flight IF you're lucky. Dumb; the sauce isn't that good!
He likes to fly, period! And love planes! Me, too!

27. You don't get it. He's on his second career in aviation,
but loves to fly. And if you've ever been on a flight that long, you do not want to stay drunk or get drunk for the long flight. Eat, walk, nap, drink lots of water!

28. lol.. I know..
It'd be like "Well.. we watched the movie, had a short nap, ate dinner... um.. Miss? How much longer before we land in Manila?"
"About 20 hours, Sir"

Crazy.. my old boss used to go to Singapore at least once every couple of months (our biggest customer leases planes to all the airlines in asia, so he'd go over to schmooze..) and it always tripped me out that the return flight would have him leave Singapore on friday afternoon and land in Seattle on friday morning (or something weird like that..)

he'd typically land around 10 in Seattle, drive home, shower, change his suit and come into the office around noon, then stay unitl 8 or so...
