WWII Memorial in DC Has dubya** On The Dedication Plate.
I noticed when I was in DC two weeks ago with my family for the protest that the WWII memorial has a dedication nameplate that has GWB as president in 2004 when it was dedicated.

I have never seen another president acknowledged like that on any other memorial in DC. Is this a first? How fucked up!

2. No, actually at the FDR Memorial which was dedicated in 1997
Bill Clinton's name is on the dedication nameplate. I noticed at all the memorials whoever was President at the time of the dedication, their names where there.

However, when I was at the WWII Memorial two weeks ago and saw that name on the dedication, I declined to take a picture of it. I figured why waste film on that sniveling, yellow coward.

It would only take away from the honor of the men and women who fought and died for their country, honorably, from December 7, 1941 through September 1, 1945, including my uncle, that I never met, who died on June 6, 1944 at Normandy.

3. I did not get to the FDR memorial
I do have this to say about the WWII memorial. It was gaudy, ostentatious and gross as far as I was concerned. BUSY BUSY BUSY with all of the baubles. Give me a serene Washington Monument any day compared to that!
