Do you think ANYONE has an inside track to the Indictments? Asides from |
|
the people that know they are up shit creek. You know that the questions that have been asked of them and their answers have discussed freely among the testifiers. Making sure they have their stories straight, and trying to gain clues as to what Fitzgerald knows.
Also, do you think that there have been witnesses from the CIA that have talked to the Grand Jury. And if they have do you think that the subjects and targets know this?

1. I think that Fitz plays his cards very close to his chest |
|
and anything we have read so far is pure speculation... including indictments for Rover boy.
I hope for the best, but I will believe it when Fitz himself tells us.

2. Nobody has any inside tracks |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-11-05 10:50 AM by Walt Starr
This prosecutor has run the most disciplined Washington investigation I have ever seen. No leaks. No news conferences. No political BS. He's focused on the investigation and he will reveal what he has discovered when he is ready.

6. That, in itself, is good news |
|
It sounds like the prosecutor is doing his job.

I was pleasantly surprised by the DeLay indictment, one can only hope for another pleasant surprise here.

5. Beware of Anyone Claiming Inside Knowledge of the Plame Investigation |
|
I am speaking specifically of Wayne Madsen and Tom Flocco. Both claimed to have the "inside scoop" on upcoming indictments. Both claims turned out to be hogwash.
I think there is a better than 50/50 chance of an indictment or plea agreement, but that's just a guess.

7. Wonder how he has done it with NO leaks. |
|
Fitz must have the most loyal staff - maybe they're "The UnCorruptables". Inorder to be that tight-lipped, they must all know and believe that if they don't do their part, this country is sunk.

8. Two different groups of people do. |
|
The first group consists of the judges who have seen Fitzgerald's evidence and heard his arguments. I am encouraged by what those judges have written.
The second group consists of criminal defense attorneys who have been informed by Fitzgerald that their clients may be indicted. I also am encouraged by what I think they have been saying to the press. However, none of them has gone on the record concerning this so I have been reading between the lines about their comments.

9. I think the witnesses have likely pooled together the questions |
|
and tried to figure out what Fitzgerald knows. At least the ones with something to lose.
Of course, the members of the Grand Jury themselves probably have a good deal of insight, having seen the whole thing.
