It's all a part of "Each One Teach One". If I am standing in line somewhere and overhear a conversation of the person next to me that is spouting pure garbage, I interject alright. I didn't use to do that until one day, I was out in a store (I am often in different stores for work) and a gentleman came in and started talking to me. This was just after Katrina, btw. He started by saying hello. I acknowleged him with a nod and went back to my work. Then he said the most eye opening thing ... he said, we need to engage each other now because our government has stopped engaging us. It blew me away. I stopped what I was doing and engaged with him in conversation. Not a long conversation mind you, but an eye opening one just the same. He was right. We need to begin to engage with total strangers, speaking truth to them and challenging their wrong assumptions with facts. Remember, the only thing needed for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

So, I don't do "nothing" anymore.
