What's the difference between the 5:00 Hardball and the 7:00 Hardball? |
|
Is there a diff at all? Is the 7:00 Hardball now a repeat?
I want to Tivo it tonight, because Tweety's been doing some good Plamegate stuff lately.
Does anyone know if both airings are first-run? Thanks! :-)

3. Is that a new thing? I don't remember a 5:00 Hardball in recent times. |
|
Weird... that's some serious Tweety overload, huh?

14. The difference is that Tweety's idiocy at 7 is the same idiocy as at 5, |
|
only it's had two hours to putrify.

2. As far as I can tell, they're the same |
|
The only difference is the earlier one is live.

4. The 7pm show is a repeat, but Tweet will go live if there's breaking news |
|
or new info that needs to be added to whatever was said in a 5pm segment. Like an important rebuttal or something.

12. Wasn't Crossfire on CNN, though? |
|
What time slot is MSNBC trying to fill... is that the time slot Tucker's godawful show was using?

16. Oh yes, it was. I can't remember what was on at 5 on MSNBC. |
|
I know they used to do the same rerun stuff with The Abrams Report, and now it's only on once.

13. FYI - Crossfire was on CNN. The 5 pm in slot was filled until recently |
|
with Ron Reagan and the blond repug chick. They are still on at 12 noon but evidently there was too much of the blond repug chick to support the 5 pm slot. (I could watch Ron for a second hour but I can't even get through the noon hour with the repug chick spewing nonsense 95% of the 60 minutes. Keep yelling at the TV screen while she is filibustering - SHUT UP AND LISTEN!
Think they should fill the 5pm hour with Rachel Maddow or Randi Rhodes. Now there are two that could kick some serious ass, take names and then kick them again.

I believe, though, that Randi works alone. (love them both)

Keep Tweety at 5pm, so that I can easily avoid him
Dan Abrams at 6pm, since he's relatively benign.
And they at 7pm, with a tip of the hat to the Huntley-Brinkley legacy at NBC, The Maddow-Rhodes Report! Segues nicely to Mr. Olbermann.
Okay, maybe the The Maddow-Rhodes Report will need to be at 9pm due to the radio show. If you push Rita Cosby to 7pm, then MSNBC gets a "nice" two hour block for tabloid crap.
