Just saw breaking news from Cleveland, Ohio but missed the story.
Can any Ohio folks let us know what is happening?

Whatever it is they said it was just south of Cleveland.

Leak from steel plant spills oil into Cuyahoga
CLEVELAND - A faulty pump at a steel plant spilled about 500 gallons of oil into the Cuyahoga River just south of downtown Sunday.
Mittal Steel Co. workers discovered the leak about 4 a.m. in a pump that delivers oil from a tank to a blast furnace, company spokesman Dave Allen said. The pump was turned off, but not before oil spilled into the plant and river.

13. Ohio spent decades cleaning it up till Taft took over.
Taft blew 30 years of concentrated effort to clean and maintain that river.

This spill is going to hurt Ohio ALOT.

10. OUCH.....That is not good news for that area. Ohio spent years cleaning up
its rivers and streams until Taft came along and started ignoring them again.

This spill will make matters even worse. More hell for Ohio. Brought to you by the GOP machine.

Anderson Charged With 2 Counts Of Murder

http://www.newsnet5.com/news/5104322/detail.html

POSTED: 12:10 pm EDT October 16, 2005

AKRON, Ohio -- An Ohio soldier charged and then cleared in a "mercy killing" in Iraq has been charged again in the case, according to his uncle.

2nd Lt. Erick Anderson, 26, of nearby Twinsburg, was notified by military prosecutors that he has been charged with two counts of murder as well as other charges involving his service in Iraq, said his uncle Peter Lorenz, an attorney from Kent.

In January, the Army dismissed charges against Anderson but said it was continuing to investigate his conduct in the death of an Iraqi teen.

Two area members of Congress, Reps. Steven C. LaTourette and Tim Ryan, plan to meet with family members on Monday in Cleveland to announce efforts on Anderson's behalf. Deborah Setliff, a spokeswoman for LaTourette, said there would be no comment before the news conference...

19. So now Ohio is the official battlefront in this
economic and political war?
The citizens of Iraq, apparently having a right to keep and bear arms, somehow allowed S H to take over and make life hard on anyone who was not his buddy. What does the picture look like here?
Is the tradition of freedom, or the hope for it, strong enough to stop the lock-step drumbeat from the religious right and the economic overlordship of the corperations?
The biggest physical confrontation of the current civil war resulted in six deaths down south and is directly traceable to the war policies of big business.
How much worse does it have to get before it gets better?
