Quotes a story with all sorts of dire information about nukes in Iraq, and the throwaway sentence far down the story that none of these sensational charges could be verified.

"All of Iraq is one large storage facility" for chemical weapons. Secret labs in Mosul, VX gas production, nerve agent, a new solid form of VX, and later in the story Miller admits that "it's difficult" to verify the truth of any of these statements.

September 2002, the aluminum pipes and mobile biological weapons laboratories make their appearance. Deep, deep, deep in the article is the admission that the aluminum tubes might not be for those dreaded weapons of mass destruction.

A horrible litany of terrible developments and potentially dire consequences screaming out of the first paragraphs of story after story by Miller, with the nearly forgotten admission far down the column that none of the developments or consequences could actually be confirmed.

Judith Miller is not a credible witness on her own behalf is the way a judge would ordinarily say it.

29. We're back, and now Judy's writing about Saddam's bombmaker

Centrifuges coming online in the next couple of years, oooh, look out.

Perle and Chalabi slamming the CIA for not believing the Iraqi National Congress. Saddam has atropine! Which can be used, it's true, to treat patients after a heart attack. But it COULD be used as a nerve gas antidote.

And now our old friend in the baseball cap walking around and pointing to spots on the ground. Shortly after that, "a paradigm shift" in the hunt for WMDs, and still turning up nothing.
