Kennedy and some friends tried to save some guys from drowning? |
|
Oh I'll bet the Kennedy-haters will love that. I just heard on CNN where some guys boat had capsized and Kennedy tried to steer over to pick them up but the waters were too rough. They called 911 and luckily they were able to get them out of the water.

1. Any excuse to bring up Chappaquiddick is a good one for them. |
|
I was shocked that it wasn't mentioned in the report I read.

2. Yeah, they had video on local news |
|
Guys were fishing on the sandbar and the wind was whipping 'em around pretty good. The tides started to come in and with the combination of higher tide and wind, it looked like the fishermen were going in Hyannis Harbor.
Teddy saw them from the compound and called Harbor Patrol. Then he got into a small boat and went out to the sandbar to see if he could help. The Harbor Patrol had a better boat and told the Senator they would take it from here and brought the guys in.
End of story. Nice call Uncle Ted.

Even Imus did not get snarky, for a change....
I sense a sea change, in more ways than one!

3. Correction - they DID save them from drowning |
|
they both called the Harbor Patrol and attempted to save the fishermen themselves. Bottom line, the people were saved, so it wasn't an "attempt", it was a rescue.
