Get ready for the DeLay mug shot, should be coming before Friday...
Oct. 17, 2005, 1:38PM

DeLay likely to be booked this week
Associated Press
AUSTIN — Rep. Tom DeLay will likely be booked in a Texas county jail this week despite attempts by his attorneys to bypass the fingerprinting and mug shot process.

The former House majority leader was forced to step down from the post last month when he was indicted by a Texas grand jury. DeLay initially was charged with conspiracy to violate the election code and days later was indicted on charges of money laundering and conspiracy to launder money in an alleged illegal scheme to funnel corporate money to Republican Texas legislative candidates.

DeLay's arraignment is set for Friday before state district Judge Bob Perkins in Travis County.

2. Can he use his hair in the mug shot or not? I thought you weren't
supposed to wear hats or anything of that nature.

5. Looks like they couldn'get it off or it fought to stay on. That poor thing
deserved to get sentenced served. I couldn't imagine being Traficant's toop-e and having to put up with his ass in jail.

We should start a free the tooop-e campaign for all the toop-es that went to jail and didn't do any crimes.

7. Better yet -- it'd be great for someone to post it all over FReeperville
Of course, whoever does it should type "No justice" in the message area below the pic -- on EVERY DeLay thread that can be found over there. Might take a while for them to figure out they've been trolled -- their current crop of immoderators is a little slow on the uptake, I've noticed (too busy getting refills of the Kool-aid).
