Re: Katrina Clean Up and Refrigerants, Tainted Gasoline & Oil
What will be done to collect and dispose of all the refrigerants from refrigerators, freezers, and vehicles per environmental standards/laws? What about the environmental standards/laws for disposing of tainted oil and gasoline?
So far have not heard any of this addressed through the MSM.
I have a feeling it will be EPA be damned with a nod and a wink...

This cleanup poses a very large problem in terms of environmental/human/animal/food chain impact.

3. Aren't the laws slackened when a State of Emergency is declared? |

Not sure but I know they are picking up frigs and freezers seperately from regular debris. No idea where they are taking them.
You don't want to know what we were doing with sewage the first weeks. :)
