Yo San Antonio, If a Hurricane hits Miami are you going to swoop in |
|
and try to steal the Dolphins? Your Mayor wants the Saints in an incredibly selfish and greedy move. New Orleans is known as the City that Care forgot. Does San Antonio want to be known as
THE CITY THAT FUCKED ITS NEIGHBORS?
Hands Off. Let your Mayor know now, that his move will only result in extremely bad publicity for an extremely long period of time for your city.

2. Save it for Tom Benson |
|
who is a San Antonio native and made his fortune over many years of selling Chevys in San Antonio. Benson's been wanting to move the Saints to SA for years just like Red McCombs (another San Antonio car dealer) wanted to move the Vikings to SA. At one time it was which one was going to move their team to SA first.

3. Maybe there is a reason he hasn't moved to SA |
|
Maybe tom knows he makes more money in NOLA. Maybe tom benson should sell the damn team to a NOLA group of businessmen. Minnesota? New Orleans? Maybe San Antonio isn't ripe for the picking. Maybe the Mayor of San Antonio knows that and that's why he is making the move now. benson. the mayor of san antonio. scum. I have no desire to save it. I want the Saints in New Orleans where they belong.

5. It might be more feasible to take the Saints public |
|
the way the Packers have been for decades.
Maybe tom benson should sell the damn team to a NOLA group of businessmen.
You gotta know the same people who cry and moan when their tax dollars are used to support the Saints would put up two or three times as much for their own little piece of the team.
Geaux Saints! It's getting hard to find paper bags that'll fit over my big head...

7. From what I have heard, it's the NFL Commissioner who wouldn't |

allow either Tom Benson or Red McCombs to bring either of their teams to San Antonio, tho' they have long wanted to. This isn't the blame of our current Mayor. Both of these owners have wanted to move their teams to San Antonio for years, from my understanding.
On edit: You should blame Benson, since he is the one who has wanted to bring the Saints to San Antonio for years, and if he had his way, the team would have been here years ago.

which barely even waited to see whether N.O. Arena had damage before trying to get its hooks into the Hornets. Real classy move coming from a place that itself knows something about tragedy. :sarcasm:
edit: sarcasm

and Kansas City has sunk its teeth into the New Orleans VooDoo (Arena Football). I guess St Louis will swing by next spring and stick a fork in New Orleans.
I'd really like a little chit chat with the Mayor of San Antonio.
