He's dissing Clinton right off the bat. Asshat. :grr:

edit: Saying he "didn't want to write this book." Jerk.

3. He's a cocky SOB IMHO.
Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 10:32 PM by CottonBear
He's talking about himself and big, bad dogs and how the dogs like him.

Jon asking him about post 9-11 now. Freeh bloviating.

11. He sure is ... Jeff Gannon's type, for sure.
He comes across as a cement-skulled, macho dick -- like the neighbor in 'American Beauty.'

9. He is such a butt-covering ass.

Jon is dissing him in his nice Jon way. "I like the way you never spied. That's really FBI."

And, it's over...that was the shortest interview EVER. Damn.

13. I agree, the dog story was good. I still don't understand why
BC didn't fire Freeh? I realize he was assigned a job to investigate his boss, and that's a very difficult thing to do, but it sounds to me like he hated Clinton, even before he took the job. For the Director of the FBI to say he couldn't do his job because he was spending all his time investigating Clinton tells me he was the wrong man to head that organization. They always have a lot of different things to handle at the same time! Too bad he couldn't do that!

19. would have caused a shitstorm.
maybe not as bad as Nixon's 'saturday night massacre' but the right would have gone absolutely batshit if The Big Dog fired old King Louis..

20. So what! They were already batshit crazy!
The guy wasn't doing his job!

What more could the crazies have done? I don't think Freeh had much influence on the Starr investigation anyway, so I don't see how it would have mattered!

6. Thanks for the warning.
I will have Hubby watch it for me, and summarize (out of consideration for both our expensive television and my blood pressure level).

10. He strikes me as kind of dim.
Just my impression.

And he was talking about how Clinton didn't understand this or that. Yeah, right.

14. Oh, that's the biggest bunch of bullbleep on the Planet.
Clinton is definitely one of the most intelligent people on the planet. Clinton is well-known for having intellectual discussions late into the evening, and Clinton had command of the facts. Pleez ...

12. Jon made him a human and reduced him to a tool at the same time!
It was masterful! I'm so impressed. I've seen several Freeh interviews in the past few days--this was masterful!
