Don't have a link immediately. The defecit was revised downwards from about $450B to about $350B(?) It was fairly large and very surprising. It's the first positive revision of defecits I can remember under Bush. We'll see how it actually comes in.

Announce a deficit far in excess of what you actually expect. That way the worst budget deficit in US history almost seems good by comparison.
Also, I doubt the new deficit numbers include the cost of the war.
