Am I the only one who really, really, really hates hurricanes?

The wide swath of destruction, the scale of misery and destruction, the twisted, sick torture of dreaded helpless anticipation... i used to say i didn't "hate" anyone... then I reserved the emotion for Bush.... but i must expand the target of that emotion.... hurricanes. I fucking despise hurricanes. I am turning in. Not much of a question.

1. I don't hate hurricanes

I may fear hurricanes, but I can see no reason to hate them.

What I do hate, however, is when these storms are coming and governments like our very own do next to nothing to help the people in the storm's path get to safety and provide for them when they've lost everything. :grr:
