1. You are just full of good news, SCD!
I'm hoping the water cools down quick; cold fronts are on the way, but don't know how far south they'll go. :scared:

11. Cold fronts tend to peter out this far south
I live in the Tampa Bay area, and cold fronts seem to die out before they reach us.

19. You take care, Dr. There's a wide swatch that could be
affected. My dad lives in Ft. Meyers, so I'm watching closely.
Living in TX, I relish some cooler weather and water finally; hurricanes be gone!

Me and most of my extended family lives in the Southeast, many on coastal lines. Please Mother Nature just hit that fucker in Washington and leave the rest of us alone!

so people who live in the tropical south, might not want to make that trade :)

6. Oh No!
Just checking in and home from work.
Is this what they're forecasting?
Have they named them already?
We're witnessing history here folks and of course there is NO global warming, it's just the tree-huggers ranting!

21. Thanks, SoCal,
I'm just teasing you! No, he didn't interview me, but some of my friends partied with him last night at a local's pub called Sharky's. He is right though, not a breath of air tonight in the Keys and humid as can be.

15. That is a tad misleading...it has no name yet, it's a tropical wave
Edited on Fri Oct-21-05 09:01 PM by karlrschneider
it has to become a depression, then a storm )when it's named) then a hurricane. All of which MAY happen but I think you're jumping the gun a bit here...
:eyes:

don't we bitch at the BFEE for constant 'terra' warnings?
