87 billion to be laid on the backs of the working american people for a war that was unjust, I would like to know "How much is Britain spending"? Tony Blair was right beside his good ol' buddy in all of this, so how much are the people of Britain paying, or is this all heaped upon us??

but I believe that the Brits are paying their own way. In other words, they are paying the cost for their troops to be there. We, on the other hand, are paying the Poles over 800,000,000 dollars for their forces (I'm sure that number is only in the thousands.)
We are paying the cost of reconstruction. Essentially, it's all on us.
On Edit: I'm pretty sure we've already spent 70 billion, so our cost so far is over 150 billion and that only gets us through the next year. I've heard reconstruction costs will be 100 billion and the military will cost 4-5 billion per month for years to come. They'll be coming back for more money next year.

which this article says will probably have been spent by the end of the year. Current rate is £200 million a month. That's about $5 billion and $333 million. http://iafrica.com/news/worldnews/275911.htm
