With all of this Cheney news tonight... |
|
I might be reaching here, or perhaps saying what others have already said. If so, forgive me, but...
If all of this is true about Cheney, and this goes as high as the VP himself, just how far out of the loop can Bush himself be? I mean, are we to believe that he knew nothing about this?
I don't see a lot of talk about Bush being caught up in this legally, and maybe I'm just hoping too much, but, well...what do you guys think?

I haven't heard anything about Bush except that he'll be lost without Rove. It's almost as though everyone assumes Bush just does what he's told to do by Rove and Cheney.

2. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I think Dubya is too stupid to know. |
|
On Tuesday and Thursdays, I think he's as evil as the rest of them and knows everything that's going on.
Come the weekend, I volunteer for Democratic candidates.

4. Bush is absolutely in the loop. |
|
I just doubt he'll get blamed for it.

5. He's in it up to his eyeballs. How could he not be? |
|
And if that's true - and if it's true my guess is Fitzgerald know it's true - he's toast.
I think he's going to be an unindicted coconspirator.

We are supposed to believe that he took a pass on this one? Sure. Ok.
Peace.

8. Indictments need to start from the bottom and then go up the chain. |
|
The lower ones give evidence about the upper ones. They had to get Scooter before they could get Cheney.
You wouldn't want to start with Bush and then having Cheney become president (with powers of pardons, et. al.), and THEN take Cheney out as a president. Easier to get rid of a VP.
Trials in these cases might prove to be very enlightening. Could lead to further charges! Might not, but might.
