...and what tax rate was applied to it when it was earned/received.

For example, I bet most of Kucinich's and Edwards's wealth was earned income taxed at high rates, relative to the others. Shartpon? I have no idea how he gets his money? He's a reverend, so it's probably earned income.

I bet Dean inherited a lot from his father when he died, which might have been taxed at a high rate, unless it's in trusts (then it isn't taxed at all until the trusts vest). Unfortunately, I bet Kerry has relatively little income taxed at high rates -- probably mostly trusts and invetment income taxed at a lower rate than earned income.

As for Bush, is his salary as president the only earned income he has ever received? And Cheney? 99.9% of his income probably was from something other than earned income. Maybe not, but I bet it's all stock options taxed at LTCG rates.

It'd be interesting to see this information, and then compare that to the average American.
