Is this the moment of reckoning for the MSM? |
|
Will any of the soldiers in the MSM jump ship when the indictments come?
Will anyone besides Keith Olbermann be telling it like it is or will we hear nothing but lies and spin on the TV once this story breaks?
I'm thinking some of them have "had it" and this could be their opportunity to change. It also seems that more and more people are going to get clued in to what's really going on and if the MSM keeps trying to spin it and say Plame was not undercover and blatantly false things, they will really lose credibility. I guess I'm being overly hopeful.
But it would be nice to have more than one reporter in the MSM to watch.

1. Interesting reaction from some of the whores on Tweety |
|
..and Tweety himself who is looking to kiss up to ratings (he said ratings soard once he started to crap on the Bushies over this Plame business). Anyway, everyone of the assembled whores like Fineman, Blankly, etc. did a real boo-hiss over Kay Baily-Huctchins shit about things being just a "technicality". They said also that if Bush or the repukes try to do the usual "attack the prosecutor", play the blame game, stick up for the indicted, etc. that it will go real bad for them..worst thing they could do. So, I'm betting the media (except Fox and drug brained Rush)are going to get on the horse and ride this one all the way.

people talking about the truth in this are going to get great ratings. those criticizing the prosecutor and making up lies are going to flop. MSM will realize there's no choice. I hope.

2. Tweety on Hardball has been great to watch this past week! |
|
Almost straight coverage of the leak investigation. He has expressed numerous times he thinks this is a BIG deal.

5. Rehabilitating their image will be a long and arduous process if |
|
there are indictments. If Fitz reveals the lies that took us to war, cable news may never fully recover. People who've not been paying attention (most of the country) are going to be blindsided by the revelations-- especially if it goes to Cheney or higher. The ones who can't fool themselves will be furious that the press and TV news did not do their jobs, and in fact supported the corruption, and trust being a necessary faction in advertising, companies who've supported the lying media are going to have a rude awakening, too.

6. I talk about Valerie Wilson outing and neo cons all the time |
|
you know the reaction I get?
How do you know all that stuff?
It is an absolute disgrace that the so called MSM is just now "educating" the American public about this tangled web
I tell people to be truly informed they must broaden their news sources by including the internet and bloggers to their daily reading habit or viewing habit
You know what they say?
What's a blog?
