Anti-Earle commercial just aired!!! |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 11:48 AM by StellaBlue
I am watching CNN (in Texas), and a commercial just came one calling Ronnie Earle a (shudder) 'liberal Democrat' and talking about how the charges he brought against Hutchison were dropped. Then there is a barking, slobbering dog (I think a Rottweiler?) and the voiceover, 'Bad, Ronnie, bad! It's not a crime to be a conservative.'

2. I don't understand why Earl doesn't get a gag order slapped |
|
on DeLay, his attorney's, and the GOP PACs. Seriously!!! These attacks are overtly attempting to taint a jury pool. Is DeLay trying to get charged with another crime?

For instance, I have a completely open mind on Delay. I would need to hear the evidence before I decided on hangin', horsewhippin', or tarrin' & featherin'. Why maybe he deserves all three! Like I said, I just proved I am fair & impartial.
It would be karma if I now got called for jury duty!

10. From what I understand, the ads don't mention Delay, just Earle |
|
Correct me if I'm wrong, but these ads don't say the Delay name since it may be construed as jury tampering. Instead they attack Earle. It is implied nonetheless and should be investigated.

that this commercial may be a way of tampering with any future jury pool, thus allowing Dicklay to apply for a change of venue, since Austin Texas is such a liberal city. Maybe I'm wrong, but Ive seen weirder shit.

8. That may very well be the correct theory... |
|
And, yes, it did have credits, but I was eating lunch and reading DU when it came on, so I didn't see all of it...
AND, I absolutely loathe Tom DeLay, but I am 100% positive I could give him a fair trial. For instance, I would've found Michael Jackson not guilty based on the evidence I saw, although I am convinced he is a child predator. But if the evidence ain't there... (insert Johnnie Cochran ditty here).

back and he will use any slimy gimmick to do so. His ego can't take it.
But it's okay to hate liberals...and cheat, lie, smear and distort to change voting districts, illegally use Homeland Security to track democrats and use laundered corporate donations to get it all acomplished...
This vindictive republican Delay, decided he was going to go on the offense and make anyone who gets in his way pay...Big time!
No matter that DeLay lied and doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Fucking republicans.
