“I didn't come here not to deal with major problems.”
Bush remarks from the pool report of last night's fundraiser...

To pay for Katrina, he says, we have to find more budget cuts. “We'll cut this deficit in half by 2009...” Calls for national medical malpractice reform. Applause. Asbestos reform. Applause. “I didn't come here not to deal with major problems.” ..... This is the pitch for Social Security reform, including private savings accounts. More applause. “I've had a chance to name two good people to the US Supreme Court...” He names Roberts, and draws applause. He names Miers, and the hall is silent at first, but after more Miers talk, applause. “There must be confidentiality in the White House,” he says of the Democratic request for documents

2. “There must be confidentiality in the White House”
When is he planning to start the confidentiality? Too bad he didn't think of that before committing treason.

6. I cannot believe that he would be able to say with a straight face
that there must be confidentiality in the White House when high level staff members at the White House are being investigated for outing a CIA agent. The duplicity of this man is just stunning! What an embarrassment for our country.

12. Is a smirk a straight face? Because I'm sure he was, as usual
SMIRKING his ass off, as he was speaking with the haves and have mores. :argh:

15. I think his smirk is the closest thing to a straight face that we are
likely to see. He is so disgusting.

14. I hope he caves big time
He doesn't have much patience, so a few more straws and kerplunk.

He is going to be pretty lonely with most of his staff gone.

16. there must be confidentiality
because he wants to hide his lies and machinations. He also doesn't want anyone to understand just what an empty suit this idiot is. Miers for what? Why?

17. "confidentiality in the White House"
Means that all the TP used for wiping off the spewed crap and lies must go down the "outhouse" hole too! We will need a new WH after this administration, as the one now will forever carry the name "OUTHOUSE" and it is full!
