Just think if there are indictments there will be a trial
Think people will be glued to their TV sets if the trial or trials is/are public. Every day another revelation about how criminal and treasonous this Administration really is. Maybe the trial might even last until after the Primaries or hell maybe even till just before the election next November. I think more people will watch than the OJ Trial...Just the thought of it really puts a grin on my face...

1. There could be pleas of "No Contest"
The indicted may just not wish to fight.

But I want a trial on an abuse of power charge. The country was intentionally misled on the rationale for going to war.

THAT is the charge I want addressed.

The work of the Plame and AIPAC investigations walk us right up to the doorstep of that conspiracy. Hopefully one or more of the prosecutors has the courage to walk through it.

2. No contest pleas followed by
presidential pardons - just to get the case out of the public eye. But in a way I almost hope it goes this way. Among his other distinctions bush will be remembered as the pres who pardoned his own aides after they confessed to a crime. I'm still convinced Ford lost the election to Carter because of his pardon of Nixon and while * can't run again it will just reinforce the image of sleaze that is starting to form around him.

3. What you're forgetting is that
the subject matter of this trial - CIA, covert operatives, White House records, etc. is all so "double-super-secret with a cherry on top" that we'll be lucky if ANY members of the public are permitted to enter the courtroom. There is NO WAY this will be televised! Sorry!

4. I can't wait for the discovery phase...when these LIARS are exposed
for what they are.

This is the beginning of the end of the Bushies.

7. If there is a trial, will Fitzgerald be the prosecutor?
I'd love to see him in action!
