Can Libby be a reliable witness against Rove? |
|
Since Libby has been indicted for dishonesty, how can Fitz then ever use Libby's testimony to get Rove???

1. It's still up to the jury to decide who's credible. |
|
So sure he can still use Libby; he'll have to weigh how much mileage he'll get in determining whether to use him.

2. It's the other way around. Who will trust Rover when he barks in court? |
|
I think he's already been turned, or is on the verge of it. He'll either end up as state's witness #1 or he'll be indicted by the next GJ.
I guarantee it.

a guy who has an offer, including any kind of immunity testifying. The defendant's atty gets a copy of the agreement and impeaches him up one side and down the other. Besides, the Libby charges are inherently crimes of dishonesty, so --who ya gonna believe?
